Xzibit's Pimped Out Jeep Wrangler JK

Xzibit’s Wrangler Upgrades

Remember when Xzibit would go out and find people in need of having their car fixed to look nicer on Pimp My Ride, then have the gang at West Coast Customs, “pimp it up”? Well now Xzibit is getting a taste of his own pimpness on his new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Of course its not conventional, especially on that show to pimp a car that is brand spankin new, but it still looks nicer than the 1987 Grand Wagoneer they had on that show in season 6.

Xzibit’s Wrangler Upgrades

It may have seemed like Xzibit knew what he was doing with his car since he started off slow. First he worried about the exterior like the front and back bumpers, a small suspension lift and new tires. When the HID headlights came on, that’s when it started to show a little separation from the competition.
JcOffroad also gave him vanguard JK bumpers along with rock sliders. Now for many people who don’t know, rock sliders are the two steel bars on either side of the car that stops the car from damaging the body when you are rock crawling or just plain off roading. Most of you probably thought these were step plates to help hop onto the Jeep.

Even though the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon edition did not get pimped out like the other cars on the show with champagne dispensers, ridiculous TV’s in there, gigantic rims and more, the rapper did not go this route.

Jeep Wrangler JK

The Jeep Wrangler JK’s started in 2007 which was a bit longer than the TJ’s. As you are aware, with each model, they keep on getting longer but Jeep somehow manages to make it work for their off-roading capabilities. Since the JK model has been introduced, there have been several updates and facelifts but overall, the Wrangler JK has stayed the same. It has even kept its traditional roots from its first model the YJ and looks similar.
