5 Changes Jeep should make to the Wrangler
The Jeep Wrangler is an American classic. That doesn’t mean it can’t be better. Here are five things that need to change on the Jeep Wrangler, according to fans of Wrangler HQ.
1). A V8 Option Wouldn’t it be great if Jeep had a V8 option for the Wrangler? In fact, just last year there were rumors that Jeep might offer the same engine found in the Dodge Challenger, a Hemi 392 option. However, there’s still no V8 option. We can only hope and pray.
2). A Diesel Option There is a loyal group of off-roaders that love diesel engines. You can’t go wrong with a diesel engine. They run forever. Plus you get better fuel economy and increased torque. Just recently there were rumblings that a diesel Jeep Wrangler JK may hit the American market.
3). A Larger Fuel Tank For those long road trips and off-road adventures, a larger fuel tank would really come in handy. Currently the 2012 Wrangler Unlimited has a 22.5-gallon tank. Maybe Jeep will put a bigger tank in future generations of Wranglers.
4). Get Rid of the Rake Some people don’t like the Wrangler’s positive rake. For those that need a refresher on positive rake, it’s when the nose of the vehicle sits lower than the rear.
5). Get Back to Roots Some believe that Jeep needs to stop worrying so much about the interior creature features and needs to focus more on performance.
